Gugliaie is a beautiful restored farmhouse set at the end of a short drive on a hill top amongst an olive grove of the “Villa Le Corti Estate” owned by Principe Corsini and spanning 246 hectares; overlooking Vigneto di Gugliaie - one of the estates most famous vineyards. The 300-year-old stone building, within walking distance of San Casciano, has retained its original façade as well as its terracotta floors & white-washed beamed ceilings. Furnished very tastefully, the large comfortable rooms allow for plenty of natural light. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned and enjoy modern en-suite bathrooms. There is a well equipped kitchen with fireplace which leads into the colourful dining room with French windows, leading then out to the rear, shaded courtyard with dining area for al fresco meals. A few steps away is the infinity-edge pool, set on a terrace with it's own shaded area for lounging, whilst there is a third shaded area at the front with a very comfortable & modern outside living area. The charming village of San Casciano with its shops, bars and restaurants is just 2 kms from the farmhouse whilst Florence is only a 15 mins drive. You can walk into the charming town for lunch or dinner or we can arrange for evening meals to be prepared and served in the Estate’s private Enoteca where wonderful wine tours as well as a tour of the famous Villa Le Corti can also be enjoyed. This is a great property for both families and for a group; large and with lots of outside space, the location is perfect for touring central Tuscany and the setting is simply stunning.
