Limonaia, “Lemon House” dating back to the 18th century was the residence for the custodians of the lemon trees, forming only a small part of a much larger estate. Perched on a hillside south west of the city of Florence, the garden with secular trees and cypresses along with the shared swimming pool set on a lower terrace, with truly spectacular views of olive groves, the River Arno and the city of Florence. Fully air-conditioned and laid out on one level; the Lemon house has been comfortably restored with an open plan seating and dining area with a working fireplace leading to the bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The owners occupy a wing of the main villa and share the garden and pool. This is the perfect location from which to visit and enjoy Florence. The city centre is just 10km away, a quick and cheap taxi ride and you are in Piazza della Signoria sipping a glass of wine or dining al fresco.
