Lorena’s cookery sessions explore the nature of Cucina Casalinga (Italian home-cooking). During her classes, she aspires to share with students the same love and curiosity for cooking that she acquired throughout her travels and experiences over the world.
If you spend time with Lorena, expect to master the fundamental techniques and traditions which govern Italian cuisine. Whilst Italy has an expansive number of cuisines (from the North to the South), Lorena’s experience guarantees she can help you prepare a number of different dishes based on personal taste and requirements. When in the kitchen with Lorena you will work collaboratively around a big kitchen table, observing and putting to practice the techniques you learn.
The classes are very playful and practical so expect to get your hands working as well as your taste-buds. Across these experiences, Lorena aims to not only teach you the techniques and skills of Italian home-cooking but her philosophy behind cooking. She believes cuisine plays a fundamental role in bringing you closer in contact with the world, its vast cultures, and interesting inhabitants.
