Section C- Extra Services

1. Your contract

When making your booking for Extra Services we will arrange for you to enter into a contract with the supplier named on your confirmation invoice and/or receipt. We accept no responsibility for the acts or omissions of the supplier or for the services provided by the supplier. The supplier’s terms & conditions will apply to your booking, and we advise you to read these carefully as they do contain important information about your booking. Please ask us for copies of these if you do not have them.

2. Pre-Departure Information form

You can book an Extra Service before you travel by contacting our Concierge Team (by phone or email), or by completing the Pre-Departure Information form that will be sent to you once your Rental has been confirmed.

3. Payments & Deposits

Once you have initiated the booking you will receive an email from Us that confirms the provisional booking. Note that there are certain services that may require a non-refundable deposit in order to confirm the booking. In those cases, we shall advise you of the different payment options the supplier has established so you can pay the deposit directly to them. The percentage of the non-refundable deposit is established in the terms and conditions of each supplier. We will let you read such conditions prior to booking an extra service. 

For booking any Cook service, depending on the cook supplying the service and the chosen menu, the price of the service can be displayed either by the number of persons or by the cook’s service plus ingredients. 

4. Payments

If you have paid a deposit you may also have to pay the balance of the  Service in advance directly to the supplier (usually by bank transfer or paypal). In other cases, you may have to pay the balance locally.  If the Extra Service does not require a deposit, you will have to pay locally to the supplier the full amount. 

Regarding payments on-site, very few suppliers have credit card facilities so please expect to have to pay in cash. For further questions about payment methods please speak to the Concierge Team. 

5. Cancellation and Amendment

Any cancellation or amendment request must be sent to us in writing, by email and will take effect from the day we receive it. Amendments and cancellations can only be accepted in accordance with the terms and conditions of the supplier of your arrangements. If you cancel a confirmed booking, you accept the loss of the non-refundable deposit. It is recommended that you contact us prior to amendment or cancellation in order to confirm the charges applicable. Please ensure that you have received written confirmation of any changes you request to your booking prior to travel.

Although we will do our best to arrange on your behalf the amendment of an extra service, we cannot guarantee such an amendment can be done. 

6. Changes or Cancellations by the Supplier

We will inform you of any changes or cancellations by the supplier as soon as reasonably possible. If the supplier offers alternative arrangements or a refund, you will need to let us know your choice within the stipulated time frame. If you fail to do so the supplier is entitled to assume you wish to receive a full refund and that would be in full and final settlement of any claim you might have in respect thereof.

We accept no liability for any changes or cancellations made to your arrangements by the supplier under your contract with it.

7. Conditions of Suppliers 

Extra Services are provided by independent suppliers. Those suppliers provide these services in accordance with their own terms and conditions which will form part of your contract with them. Some of these terms and conditions may limit or exclude the supplier's liability to you. Copies of the relevant parts of these terms and conditions are available on request from us or the supplier concerned.

8. Concierge Services

The Extra Services available at each property are displayed on our website under the price and availability tab, simply go to this section and click on “Extra services available payable locally”. 

Extra Services may be requested up to twenty-one days before the first day of the rental period, we cannot guarantee Extra Services requested as these are provided by third parties. We do our utmost to ensure that the individual engaged to perform the service fulfils its duties in a professional manner, but we are not liable for any inadequacies or failures.

The following Extra Services are typically offered:

Maid service: The maid service included with the property rentals involves cleaning and tidying only. It should be noted that this service does not cover the making of the beds, cleaning of the kitchen, laundry or ironing. For further details you may contact our concierge services department or a member of the sales team. Extra maid service prices vary, depending on the location.

Cook Service: Cooking services vary and are charged either on an hourly basis or on a per-person basis, please check on the website at the individual property for details.

Shopping: If you send us a shopping list in advance, before the deadline for booking Extra Services, we can arrange this for you. In addition to the cost the items themselves, there may be a charge for the shopping service, refer to our website for a price guideline. Whilst we do our utmost to ensure the accuracy of the list, this service is prone to errors due to misinterpretations and substitution of local products for those requested. Prices indicated on the website serve as a guideline only and are subject to change. The actual cost should be confirmed with the Villa Owner/caretaker of the property.

Pick-ups/drivers: You may request a professional chauffeur service to get you to and from the airport. 

Cooking lessons: We can arrange for a professional chef to come and teach you and your party cooking lessons. If you wish to book this service, please contact our Concierge Team. 

9. Our responsibility for your booking

Your contract is with the supplier of the Extra Services and its booking conditions apply. We accept no responsibility for the actual provision of the arrangements. Our responsibilities are limited to making the booking in accordance with your instructions. We accept no responsibility for any information about the arrangements that we pass on to you in good faith. However, in the event that we are found liable to you on any basis whatsoever, our maximum liability to you is limited to twice the cost of the service you booked for (or the appropriate proportion). We do not exclude or limit any liability for death or personal injury that arises as a result of our negligence or that of any of our employees whilst acting in the course of their employment.
