With many of us are gearing-up to enjoy a long overdue trip, and return to the many joys of travelling, we are heartened by the fact that Italy is now open to tourists and there are no longer restrictions in place. Since 26th April 2021, establishments have been allowed to open across the country, and these include bars, shops, restaurants, wineries and museums.

The “Green Pass” system has been introduced to facilitate those who want to travel to Italy for tourism, and alongside the EU’s Digital Covid Certificate (EUDCC), which will further re-inforce the framework and fully reopen safe and responsible travel across the European continent. This also includes arrivals from the USA, who continue to be welcome to Italy for tourism without restrictions if fully-vaccinated. We have prepared a dedicated web page here where you will be able to find detailed and practical information on how you can register for the required passes if you are due to travel.

For our clients travelling from the United States: starting 31st August, all arrivals from the United States are required to present a negative PCR test (taken within 72 hours prior to arrival) or antigen swab test (taken within 48 hours of arrival). This is required alongside certification of your full vaccination status, or certification of recovery from COVID-19, issued by your health authority (CDC).

For our clients travelling from the UK: starting 31st August, all fully vaccinated arrivals from the UK are no-longer required to self-isolate for 5 days upon entry to Italy.

If you are not fully vaccinated, and are required to self-isolate, this can of course be done at your villa. We would like to facilitate as much as possible our clients who choose to travel; we can arrange shopping and prepared meals delivered to your villa upon request, alongside any other service that we are able to arrange to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Our Concierge Team and Ground Staff are always on standby, and we are guaranteeing an extra level of special attention and care to those who have to self-isolate at their villas.

TN&M’s Responsible Travel Guarantee for 2021 & 2022

What options will I have for my booking?

Please be aware that this guarantee will only be available for bookings made during 2021 and 2022, and with travel dates within 2021 or 2022.

1- At any point in time before your final balance is due (63 days prior to arrival), and if your travels are likely to be made impossible due to any Covid-related reasons, you can change the dates of your reservation to new available dates at the same villa within the same year of travel - 2021. This will also apply to bookings in 2022.

2- When your final balance is due, and if your plans are affected by Covid-related restrictions*, you will be able to move your booking to different available travel dates at the same villa, in 2021 or 2022.

3- If you are not able to choose your new dates right away, we will send you a voucher for the monies received. This can be used against a booking at the same villa for travel dates within 24 months of the original booking.

4- Should your plans be affected by by Covid-related restrictions* only after you have paid your final balance, we will refund the balance payment and send you a voucher for the monies received. You can also choose to re-book straight away for new travel dates at the same villa.


*What do you mean by Covid-related restrictions?

1- Any official travel ban, issued either by the party leader’s region/country of residence or by the Italian governing bodies, that completely prevents you from travelling to the villa. 

2- If you have to quarantine upon arrival in Italy. This only applies if the quarantine is imposed within the region your villa is located, and not as a result of you or any member of your party testing positive whilst in Italy.

3- If the party leader who is responsible for the booking tests positive to Covid within the 14-days prior to travel. We regrettably cannot extend this to other members of the travelling party.

4- If entry into Italy is not possible, due to your flight/transportation being cancelled due to Covid-related reasons, and there is no viable alternative to reach your destination.

Can I transfer my voucher to another person?

Yes. To do this please contact us directly.

Can I use my voucher for another villa, or change my villa when I re-book? 

No. Your voucher can only be used for the villa you originally booked.

Up until when can I use my voucher?

You can use your voucher for available travel dates within 24 months of the original travel dates you booked.

Will there be a difference in price?

If you book travel dates in a higher price category, then you will be required to pay the difference in price.

Can my deposit be refunded?

We cannot refund your deposit, but will issue a voucher for the equivalent amount.

Do you recommend travelling with travel insurance?

Yes, we highly recommend you take out travel insurance before your booking, so you can travel with ease of mind knowing that you are protecting yourself and your loved ones.
