Fattoria di Lamole has been in the Socci family since 1071, so to say Chianti Classico is in their blood would be an understatement. Today, the estate covers over 130 hectares of land, but only the very best locations are planted with vines and cultivated by hand. Growing on terraces handcrafted by local farmers hundreds of years ago, the Socci family marry over 950 years of tradition with modern, organic viticulture and a sensitive eye on the impacts of climate change.

This fascinating wine-tasting experience will be led by Gio Stella from your luxury villa in Tuscany. Just one of a series of ‘Winery’ in-villa tastings led by Gio Stella — the Tuscan winemaker spotlights quality wines from the local estates he works with. In this instance, that means exclusive insight into some of the most iconic Chianti wines produced by one of the oldest families in the Italian wine business!

This private in-villa wine tasting will be led by Gio Stella, who has hand-picked five classic wines produced on the Fattoria di Lamole estate in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. The estate produces just one white wine along with a sublime selection of Chianti Classico, Riserva and 100% Sangiovese red wines. Gio will introduce you to the strong personality of each wine, told from the refreshing perspective of an experienced winegrower who knows the vines and land of Fattoria di Lamole firsthand. His goal as a winemaker is to make the best wine in the kindest way for the environment. And his goal for every wine tasting — is to take you on a journey through the place that gives birth to each glass of wine. 

Each tasting can also be accompanied and appropriately paired with the famous Tuscan bruschetta, topped with local seasonal ingredients at an additional cost. Alessandro Pieragnoli runs a popular bruschetteria in San Gimignano and can tailor each accompanying dish to the wines you will taste.

The private wine tasting will last 1.5 hours and can be arranged at a time that suits you and your guests. Gio Stella will host the wine tasting at your private villa in Tuscany with the optional support of Alessandro Pieragnoli who can pair the tasting with a selection of Tuscan bruschetta.
