Blaze a trail for Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler. In 2023, the Ryder Cup comes to Italy, and you can play its prestigious host course while you’re at one of our Italy villas.

You’ll learn from, and play 18 holes with, Alessandro Resseguier, a golf professional and certified Italian Golf Federation teacher with extensive experience of the Marco Simone championship course. As you go around, he’ll share tips on improving your game, and advice on how to beat this Par-72 course.

Playing Marco Simone is a memorable experience. This undulating masterpiece was designed by famous course architect Jim Fazio, and surrounds a 1,000-year-old castle tower. And where else in the golfing world can you see the dome of St. Peter’s from the fairway?

Our experience offers a unique chance to refine your skills in the company of a PGA professional, and to relax afterwards in Marco Simone’s clubhouse. This is a day you’ll never forget.

And when Europe/USA (delete as appropriate) sink that winning putt in 2022, you can say: “I’ve been there!”

Your Golf Pro: Alessandro Resseguier

Alessandro turned pro in 2007, after completing his university studies. He is certified by the PGAI and the Titleist Performance Institute, and is an official Italian Golf Federation teacher.

He has been Head Pro and in charge of the youth section at many notable clubs in Tuscany and Umbria, acquiring an extensive knowledge of central Italy’s many fine courses. He has trained at Italy’s National School of Golf and, most importantly of all, is a passionate teacher of golf.

In your pro’s own words: “For me golf combines technique, competition and contact with nature. My extensive experience not only enables me to teach the game basics, but also to help advanced players perfect their technique. I will show you amazing places to play golf, and contribute to advancing your skills and developing more effective game strategies. We’ll also have fun!”

The experience takes place at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club.
You can choose a start time that suits you, depending on the availability of your preferred tee times.
A good set of golf clubs are provided by our professional.
Green fees cost an additional €70 to €90, depending on the season; credit cards are accepted at the clubhouse.
