No holiday in Tuscany is complete without a shopping spree. Florence is one of the world’s design capitals, and home to 4 of the most renowned Italian fashion designers. You can shop these famous designers in the city itself, or head out of town to Tuscany’s luxury outlets to hunt down bargains on luxury shopping

These 4 luxury outlets are all within easy reach of many of our villas in Tuscany. If you want private, door-to-door transport for your shopping trip, our concierge team will arrange it. 

Outlet shopping near Florence

The Mall Outlet

The Mall is the most famous shopping outlet in Tuscany, specialising in Italian and international designers. Luxury outlet stores include Gucci, Ferragamo, Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, and Prada.

The Mall Outlet Florence is actually a 40-minute drive from Florence, but can be easily reached by bus or car. BUSITALIA/SITA runs a shuttle bus service every 30 minutes from Santa Maria Novella train station in the city centre (€13 round-trip).

If you are driving from one of our luxury villas in Tuscany, free parking for customers is also available at The Mall.

Barberino Designer Outlet

Barberino Designer Outlet has over 120 designer stores selling everything from clothing to homewares, and including brands such as Furla, Calvin Klein, Adidas, Prada and Pinko. As well as shops, you can find restaurants and cafes, as well as a kids’ playground. 

The shopping outlet is 30 minutes north of Florence, and can be easily reached by car or bus.  A shuttle bus runs from Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence every 2 hours (€13 round-trip). Free customer parking is also available at this luxury shopping outlet.

Valdichiana Outlet Village

Valdichiana Outlet Village is another luxury fashion outlet in Tuscany not to be missed, featuring over 140 designer and brand shops. The outlet features Italian and international brands such as Brooks Brothers, Replay, Adidas and Bata, as well as restaurants and cafes, a pharmacy, playground, bookstore and optician. 

This shopping outlet is 30 minutes outside Arezzo (and an hour from Florence) and can easily be reached by car or bus. A suburban bus (LS5 Arezzo–Foiana–Bettolle) departs from Arezzo train station. Tickets must be purchased beforehand at the station (€4.50 each way) and the local stop is Foiana Outlet Village.

Free parking for customers is also available at the outlet. Our villas near Cortona are a short drive away.

The Space Outlet  

The Space is an outlet in Tuscany reserved for Prada and all Prada lines including Miu Miu, Church’s and Car Shoe. You can find bargains on handbags, accessories, clothing and shoes. During high season the outlet admits only 100 shoppers at a time, so it is best to avoid peak hours.  

Often known as the Prada Outlet Florence, this factory shop is actually an hour from the city but easily reached by car or train. The nearest train station is Montevarchi, and from there a taxi ride takes approximately 20 minutes (8€–10€). Free parking is also available at the outlet.
