Podere Nuccioli is located in the outskirts of the village of Caldine, few kilometres to Fiesole, which overlooks Florence and is considered one of Italy’s most beautiful towns in its own right. Caldine has restaurant, a few bars and a big supermarket, all within 1 km/0.6 miles from the villa. For wider selection you have Fiesole, less than a 10-minutes drive, or Florence, a 15-minute drive (including rush hour). The railway station of Caldine within walking distance connects to central Florence. To the north is the Mugello, a lovely area favoured by weekending Florentines and history buffs alike. Further south than Florence, about 45 minutes drive you have the Chianti, world famous wine-producing region.

Railway station in Caldine for connection to central Florence, a 15-minute walk, and in Florence Santa Maria Novella, 9km/5 miles. Bus service from Florence or Fiesole with stops few hundred meters from the villa. Ample parking.

We arrived at Podere Nuccioli on September 7, our 19th Wedding Anniversary. There are five other couples here with us. My husband and I asked Udesh if we could stay here forever. The villa and its environs are so beautiful and you can’t help but be relaxed in such a beautiful setting. We have been very comfortable here. We can’t say enough about Udesh. He has been so helpful and accommodating. I’m sure he’s one of the main reasons, if not the reason, that visitors before us have so enjoyed their stay here. Grazie per tutto, Udesh. The Podere Nuccioli exceeds all expectations. The quality of amenities along with their quantity is above and beyond. We could want for nothing. I came here to celebrate my 80th birthday with my family and will take home forever memories of the stunning scenery, the beautiful grounds, pool, jacuzzi, steam room and a kitchen which makes cooking an absolute joy. Tuscany Now and More communicated clearly at each stage of the booking process and could not have been more diligent in ensuring we had all contact details we could possibly need. Udesh has been an absolute joy. We feel very lucky indeed.

We had the most amazing stay at Podere Nuccioli! We celebrated our father’s 65th birthday and recent retirement. We loved the area and being in the quiet hills with beautiful views. We have spent two weeks in this amazing villa and all 12 of us agreed we couldn’t find anything negative to say! We are truly in awe of the transformation that’s taken place (I’m sure without a shortage of lots of blood, sweat and tears!) turning a derelict Italian farmhouse into a dream holiday home for friends and families to spend quality time together, enjoying stunning views over the Tuscan countryside. We have particularly enjoyed many happy evenings in the beautiful courtyard, listening to Italian music and eating delicious Italian food with a glass of Italian wine! What’s not to love! What a wonderful way for three generations to celebrate two major milestones in the families. We have all enjoyed the comfort, the facilities and Udesh’s hosting of this special week for us. We are sad to go – we could stay for even longer if there wasn’t another lucky group following us today! The scenery and setting is beautiful. We enjoyed Udesh’s meals and the opportunity to use the wonderful kitchen. The swimming pool was a big hot too and some of us even found time to use the gym and spa. We have loved every minute of our stay here at the fabulous Podere Nuccioli! It is a truly memorable place with stunning interiors, spacious bedrooms, beautiful gardens and pool. Our visit was the perfect balance of culture and countryside. At the heart of everything was Udesh, who was constantly on hand to assist with anything and who provided us with some delicious meals – notably, his Sri Lankan banquet out on the terrace and the amazing sea food risotto that we were treated to on our first night. We are very sad to be leaving this little piece of paradise and hope to return very soon.

"When Kisten and I started dating we began to dream of world travels, with her two daughters, Malia (14) and Sierra (12). Italy, specifically, was on the list. Married now 10 years, and with a son Dominic (4), we've checked the Italy box, tremendous style, staying in this Villa. Kristen picked this Villa 3 years ago and the world stopped. We are so grateful that we were able to make this trip happen. Udesh and Amali are world-class hosts. I am filled with gratitude to be able to enjoy this beautiful land and home. The country yard, lunches and dinner on the veranda, and hikes along the property are just some of the memories we'll take with us. We came from Michigan, Georgia, Colorado, and Virginia for our family vacation. This has been one of the best vacations we have ever had. The Villa is beautiful and in a perfect location! A couple came from London to this beautiful Villa! It certainly has the wow looks! Fab decor and luxury all around. Udesh helped to make it a memorable experience. Rather than visiting a couple of local restaurants, we chose him to cook for us. What an amazing cook! We look forward to returning one day. This is a wonderfully appointed villa, set in beautiful surroundings and combining tranquility with many and varied opportunities for activity. The House Manager, Udesh, is what makes this place so special. He is always available and keen to offer assistance in any manner of ways, and maintains the villa to the highest standards. How he manages to do everything in such a large estate on his own is quite astonishing.

Jeremy As we leave your Tuscany home today I just wanted to drop you a quick e mail to let you know what a brilliant job Udesh does for your clients. He is helpful and always available if needed but is discrete so the holiday feels like a home from home most of the time. He and his wife cooked 2 meals for us which were superb. He looks after your home incredibly well and appears to take great pride in the work he does for you. I have rented many homes over the years all over the world and he is without doubt the best housekeeper I have experienced. It has also been a pleasure to get to know him a little during our stay. To the "Blanchards" What a fantastic four weeks we (and several groups of friends) have had staying in this beautifully located villa, with picturesque views from every aspect. The interior is absolutely amazing. We really had to venture beyond the villa to eat out, preferring the "al fresco" dinners prepared on site and many of our friends fighting to make use of the wonderful kitchen facilities. The pool and surprisingly the gym, have seen high levels of activity. The Multi- talented Udesh has been available to help us out at every moment - although we fear we may have deprived him of sleep on some nights with late night ping - pong matches. Hi Jeremy! Our short break is over, we're back to the heat and traffic of Manila! And getting back to our regular schedules. We are definitely missing the gorgeous Tuscan weather, and your beautiful home! As I've previously said, we truly enjoyed our time at Podere Nuccioli. The home was beautifully appointed and felt very comfortable. The outside area was always nice to share a few drinks in in at sunset and the trampoline and ping pong table were hits with the kids. They also spent a lot of time in the playroom and it was nice that there were games and toys for various ages. Our favorite area, though, was the kitchen, equipped with almost any equipment we could ask for. We loved going to the mercato and cooking our food. At home, none of us ever cook! Haha. But in Tuscany, every child had a specialty. Everyone wanted to stay a bit longer or to plan another trip and stay longer! The location is ideal and La Reggia degli Etruschi was great! I was really looking for a place that wasn't too far away from Firenze and your place fit the bill. And Caldine and Fiesole had pretty much everything anyway. I must also say Udesh was great. Helpful and informative without being obtrusive. And his curry was excellent! So all in all, an excellent time was had by all. We hope to able to return someday! Podere Nuccioli was beautiful and perfect for our family. The villa was everything we had hoped for. Perfect location outside of Florence with access to restaurants, markets, bus stops and trains. The manager, Udesh was fantastic. He answered any questions we had and fixed an incredible Italian menu one evening. I only wish we would have had him fix other menus as well. We enjoyed the pool and still had time for trips to Pisa, Florence, Siena etc. Wonderful vacation.

The villa was pristine, the caretaker was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Very conveniently locate outside the city of Florence and close proximity to other beautiful small towns.
