The nearby villages of Ambra (7km/4mil) and Bucine (15km/9mil) offer a wide selection of grocery shops, a supermarket, pharmacy, cafés and weekly markets. For more extensive shopping, Montevarchi is 22km/14mil away.For larger town markets, Arezzo hosts its celebrated antiques fair every first Sunday of the month, while Siena’s Wednesday market is one of the region’s most popular. Several bars lie close to the villa, including Bar della Piazza in Ambra and Bar Pasticceria Guidieri in Bucine, known for its artisanal pastries, gelato, and aperitivi. A good selection of restaurants are also within an easy 10-20 minute drive of the villa and can be personally recommended by the villa manager. The medieval estate of Il Borro is a 30-minute drive away, offering wine tastings, artisan workshops, restaurants, and a spa. Many of the region’s most iconic towns—Cortona (63km/39mil), San Gimignano (75km/47mil), Monteriggioni (54km/34mil), Pienza (62km/38mil), and Montalcino (67km/41mil) — can be reached in around an hour. The great art cities of Arezzo (40km/25mil), Siena (40km/25mil), and Florence (70km/43mil) are all within 30–60 minutes, making day trips effortless.

Motorway: From the A1 highway, take the Valdarno exit and continue along the SP11, SR69, and SR540 for 20km/12mil. The final stretch includes 2.4km/1.5mil of paved road before reaching a 2.4km/1.5mil gravel road leading to the property. An electric gate provides access to the villa, with parking available for up to ten cars.
