Convento San Giacomo is perfectly placed for exploring Umbria’s cultural heartland, just 2.5km/1.5mil from the hilltown of Todi. The town offers everyday essentials, a weekly farmers’ market, boutique shops, and acclaimed restaurants, with Grechetto DOC wineries on the doorstep. The famous majolica ceramics town of Deruta (28km/17.5mil) is around 20 minutes away. Golden Orvieto (35km/21.5mil), Umbria’s capital Perugia (46km/28mil), and UNESCO-listed Assisi (63km/39mil) — home of St Francis — are all well within an hour’s drive.

Motorway: From the E45 motorway, exit at San Damiano and follow the SP378 south towards Todi for 5km/3mil. A 750m white gravel road leads to a gated entrance. There is parking within the gates for 12 cars, plus ample additional parking outside of gates if required.
