La Magnifica is set in the hills just outside Impruneta, a lively village on the edge of the Chianti region. Piazza Buondelmonti (5km/3mil) offers bars, cafés, a COOP supermarket, and a weekly Saturday market. The village is also known for its historic cotto furnaces, which still produce the terracotta used throughout Tuscan architecture. Local trattorias such as Il Pruneto, La Loggettina, and Il Battibecco are just a few minutes from the property. Florence is very easy to reach: the neighbourhood around Porta Romana (8km/5mil; 13 minutes by car) is home to Da Ruggero, Vecchia Bettola, and many long-established favourites. The Chianti region begins just beyond Impruneta, with its vineyards, olive groves, and hilltowns. Classic wine villages such as Greve in Chianti (20km/12.5mil), Panzano in Chianti (28km/17.5mil), and Castellina in Chianti (40km/25mil) are all within easy driving distance for cellar tours and long lunches. San Casciano Val di Pesa (15km/9.3mil), San Gimignano (52km/32.3mil), and Siena (70km/43.5mil) also make straightforward day trips.

By Car:
Motorway exit:From the A1 highway, take the Firenze Impruneta exit and follow the Via Cassia to Via Quintole per le Rose/Via Riboia for 2.5km/1.6mil. Continue on the SP70 for 2km/1.2mil before reaching a 550-metre (600 yards) gravel road leading to the property. An electric gate provides access to the villa, with parking available for up to four cars.
