Orvieto, within just over 20 minutes from Villa Soele, tops the list of favourite hill towns with a medieval centre offering a variety of shops and restaurants. Around Orvieto are a number of local wineries to visit. Lake Bolsena - Europe's largest volcanic lake with beaches, canoe rentals and tour boats is only 20 minutes away by car. Other possible day trips from Villa Soele include: Todi, the ceramic workshops in Deruta, the spas of San Casciano dei Bagni and many places of cultural and architectonical interest like Perugia, Cortona, Montepulciano, Lake Trasimeno, Siena, Rome, Tivoli, Spoleto, Assisi and Florence. The nearest small villages from Villa Soele with a few bars and grocery shops are Lubriano, 5 minutes away by car, or Castiglione a Teverina within 10 minutes. A visit to the ancient village of Civita di Bagnoregio, an Etruscan treasure at 15 minutes drive sitting on top of a volcanic rock which can be reached only by footpaths, will take you back in time.

Motorway/Superstrada exit: coming from the north, exit Orvieto 12 Km/ 7.4 miles; coming from the south, exit Attigiano 25 Km/ 15.5 miles.
From the main paved road, 600 mt of well maintained and smooth white road to the property. Automated gate and 4 car parking spaces. 

By Train:

Railway station: Orvieto Scalo, 13 km/8 miles for connections with Rome. Bus stop: Orvieto, 17 Km Km/ 10.6 miles.
